Nostalgic Corinthians Paulista retro football shirt based on the shirt from the year 1977. Sport Club Corinthians Paulista (Timão) is a Brazilian sports club from São Paulo. In 1977 president Vicente Matheus Palhinha brought 7 million cruzeiros to Corinthians. The club did very well that year and played the final for the title against Ponte Preta. Palhinha scored in the first game, but in the second game Ponte Preta won, resulting in a third, deciding game. Here Basílio scored the winning goal in the 81st minute and so came another state title after a drought of 23 years. The club revived and won the title again two years later.
